Welcome back
I hope you have all had a great summer holiday! As always we are excited to welcome the children back into school and we are looking forward to the year ahead.
This Autumn term, we will be exploring the seaside, including looking at features of a seaside and where in our country there are beautiful seasides. There will be lots of reading, lots of writing and a lot of maths. We are going to learn about the different seasons and look at how the temperature can differ during the week. Full details of what we are learning this year can be found on the long term and medium term plans.
English
In our English learning this Autumn Term we are looking at two different texts; 'Fatou, fetch the water' and 'Cold'. The children will use these texts as examples for their own writing.
