Mrs Flaherty, Mrs Smith, Mrs Gills and Mrs Scott welcome you to our class page.
We are excited to share the learning taking place in our classroom. Please visit this page regularly to see updates about what we have been learning and what we will be learning this term.
You will also find important information here, including copies of letters sent home and details about home learning.
Throughout the year, we will share photos of classroom activities and learning on our website and through ClassDojo
Important Information
Reading and homework
We ask that all children read at home at least four times each week. Please ensure that reading records are brought into school every Monday so that we can keep track of home reading. Homework for English and Maths is set on Mondays and should be returned by Friday.
Each Friday, children will take part in a times tables check. Regular practice at home can help build confidence and fluency. All children have a login for TT Rock Stars to support their maths learning. Spelling tests also take place on Fridays. Children can use Spelling Shed at home to practise their weekly spellings.
PE
We enjoy keeping active and making healthy choices in our class. The children have PE lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and should come to school wearing their PE kit on these days. We also take every opportunity to be active and enjoy exercise throughout the school day.
ClassDojo
Don't forget that ClassDojo is our primary way of sharing the class' learning. To login, please click here. If you require any assistance with this, please get in touch.

Long Term Plan
MTC
The Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) takes place each June for all Year 4 children. This is a short online check that assesses children's knowledge and recall of times tables up to 12 × 12. To help prepare, we encourage regular practice at home using TT Rock Stars and Mathsframe. These resources provide fun and engaging ways for children to build their confidence and fluency with multiplication facts. Year 3 children also practise their times tables throughout the year to help them develop strong foundations before taking the MTC in Year 4.
